OUR HISTORY
WHO WE ARE
NHMC originated from a history of successfully launching and managing several ambitious healthcare ventures in the UK. Beginning with the development of our first site in 2000, we embarked on a journey to establish multiple hospitals across the UK dedicated to treating brain injuries. Our accomplishments were ultimately recognised by EY, which awarded us the prestigious “Award for Healthcare Innovation” in 2016. This recognition brought international attention to the group and led to an expansion of our services across Europe and the Middle East.
With active sites across the UK and multiple developments underway internationally, NHMC has grown from assets valued at £150,000 in 2000 to assets exceeding £60 million today, with a forecast to surpass £300 million by 2032. To learn more about what we are currently working on, visit our projects.

ABOUT OUR FOUNDER
DR NASER FOUAD DL, PhD
Dr Naser Fouad balances clinical excellence with business acumen with a proven track record of launching specialist rehabilitation hospitals in Northwest England. A psychiatrist by training, he moved to the UK in 1992 where he spent a decade working in the NHS.
In 2000, Dr Fouad bridged his clinical and business expertise to acquire and successfully turnaround a care home which became the precursor to launching his first brain injury unit. The unit helped its patients on the journey toward independent living.
It’s a model which Dr. Fouad has successfully implemented and expanded across multiple specialist clinics and rehabilitation hospitals in the Northwest of England.
Due to a combination of his contributions to the healthcare sector and his philanthropy work throughout the UK and abroad, in 2017 Dr. Fouad was bestowed the title of His Majesty’s Deputy Lieutenant of Cheshire.
